Dear members and friends of the Bloomington Chorale:
A Swedish proverb states, “Those who wish to sing always find a song.” Since 1982, the non-profit volunteer Bloomington Chorale has been providing affordable and high-quality choral music for audiences throughout the community. We provide singers (of all ages and abilities) and audiences (diverse and ready to be entertained) the opportunity to be transformed by the beauty and power of music.
As with any organization, the Bloomington Chorale has expenses such as payroll, advertising, instrumentalists, music, venue costs, etc. However, the revenue from membership dues, ticket sales, and grants account for only 78% of income needed.
MUSIC FOR ALL CAMPAIGN: Therefore each year the Bloomington Chorale Board of Directors asks members and friends to donate what they can to ensure the continuation of quality programming.
All donations to the Bloomington Chorale are tax deductible.
Gifts and pledges of all sizes can be made in one payment or increments throughout the year.
If donating by check, please print and fill out this PLEDGE FORM and mail both to:
The Bloomington Chorale Bloomington Center for the Arts, 1800 W. Old Shakopee Rd, Bloomington, MN 55431-3071.
In addition, pledges can be made ONLINE at GiveMN.org. from November 1, through November 13, 2019, Give to the Max Day. Signify your pledge is for the Bloomington Chorale. **There is a 6.9% fee taken out of your donation unless you opt to pay that additional amount.

Music Benefiting the Whole Community Performances by the Bloomington Chorale are a benefit to the community. Audience members are able to enjoy quality musical performances of great choral works without the expense and difficulty of driving into downtown.
Parking is free and plentiful and ticket prices are kept intentionally low so that more community members will be able to afford the concert experience.
Spring 2009, a special full performance of Haydn’s Creation was offered to retirees and to the unemployed at a reduced cost or no cost at all.
In Spring 2014, our entire performance was "A Salute to our Veterans" (honoring through music all the men and women who have selflessly served our country, from the revolutionary war to the present). All veterans attended the performance at no cost.
We Can’t Imagine a World Without Choral Music
We believe that any one should have the chance to sing great choral music.
Many choruses restrict their membership to a limited number of voices and only to those who pass an audition process. Not the Bloomington Chorale. All willing singers are accepted in the Bloomington Chorale.
All are welcomed into a musical community where they gain friendships, learn music and vocal technique as well as experience the beauty and power of choral singing.
Thank you again for your support to the Bloomington Chorale.
